A different kind of consolidation run

I’ve never run anywhere but in the woods close to home but we’ve come away for a little holiday and my running clothes seemed to have crept into my luggage! I think I might have brought my lazy gremlin too though but having seen her off back into her box I managed to get out of the door only half an hour after my planned time. Not too bad I thought but oh my goodness how wrong could I have been! Once the sun is properly up it is soooo hot and really strong ...well for a very fair skinned fat old lady like me 🤣 I had to wear a mask for my five minute walk but then I’m allowed to run without one. That was enough of an incentive to keep running for the full thirty minutes despite the heat! It was a lovely flattish run all the way along by the sea from our apartment to the next village and back. I got a pb too 👍

It was! I’m definitely getting up earlier for Sunday’s run tho 🤣

Woweee Well done!.. on kicking the gremlin back into her box and also getting out and doing a run in the sun!... Fab pace too!

Go and treat yourself to a nice cold drink
