Laura tells me I’m a runner... try telling my legs that.

I held a steady pace throughout today’s 25 min run and for the last minute (as was Laura’s suggestion) I went a little faster. I’m not out of breath at all. I know all of this means I’m getting fitter, the plan is working for sure.

By no means am I in love with running. I’m in love with the rush of endorphins at the end tho...

Love this post!

I'm the same, not in love with running (yet) but definitely love that post run high. I have bags of energy for the rest of the day. I guess it's the body rewarding you for doing something good 😁🏃‍♀️

I can't believe the difference in my breathing either. From not being able to jog for a minute without puffing and panting to now running for 20 mins continuously? I'll take that win every time. I start week 6 tomorrow 🤞😁

I feel the same as you... proper sets me up for the day. I almost feel a little bit smug inside.

Well done for getting this far! I loved W5, especially R3. It was a massive sense of achievement.

Good luck tomorrow 😀

Well done for completing week 6 😬👍

There is a marathon runner I follow on Twitter, and her bio reads ' Hate running . . Love food '

😂

This reminded me of a cyclist I saw today who had a jersey that read ‘Cycling for Cake’ 😁

Laura is correct, once you have completed that run you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, congratulations to you Janeyra, onwards and upwards to week 7.

There is an addictive element to the running, that sense of achievement. I look forward to listening to my music and seeing what time i do 5k. I reckon I'll settle on 3 x 30 mins a week when I graduate as the idea of stretching it beyond 30 mins doesn't appeal. Will be good when park run starts up as have never done one. Keep on keeping on!

I’m not covering even 4K at the moment. I think 5k will come after graduation for me and I’m fine with that... although maybe in week 8 I’ll try running on further if I feel good - see how long it takes to get to 5k

I’m looking forward to park runs starting up, got plenty of plans and look forward to joining the community of lovely runners.

Aye, will be fun to do the park run...all the best for hitting the 5k , main thing is to build up your stamina and consolidate the 20 min, 25 min runs.
