First full 5K for a while

Just completed my first full non-stop 5K in a while. Life had sort of got in the way (I lost my mum 2 weeks ago) & running leading up to that had been a bit sketchy. Took it slowly but at least I proved I’ve still got it in me! Now just need to get back into the habit of going out every other day!

Really well done. I'm sorry to read of your loss, it can take so much out of you, so don't be hard on yourself if your running isn't up to scratch. Try to get out for regular short runs if you can to keep up the habit and to help clear your mind - if a run ends up longer than planned it's a bonus. Be kind to yourself 😊
