Wow šÆ itās either been a bad day or I was a bit naive! I thought goin into wk8 ā 3mins canāt make that much differenceā how wrong I was lol I did it and recorded my fastest pace yet but wow it was a struggle. Hoping run2 will feel a bit better š

Have you linked the struggle with your fast pace?
Being fast is tough.........slow down and it is oh so much easier.
Yeah I do need to work on my pace but I think the best plan is to finish the course first
Like so many it seems that you assume running harder is the best way to build your running body..........not so.
To build the solid aerobic base required to run further and faster you need to spend 80% of your time at an easy conversational pace.
If you cannot speak aloud clear ungasping sentences as you run then you are going too fast.
