Really annoyed with myself - couldn’t complete today’s run had to stop 4 minutes before the end. Head wasn’t in the right place, before I even started I had doubts I could do it - feeling sick and having an aching thigh also didn’t help. Keep telling myself I still managed 2.5km and 19 minutes (16 minutes of actual running) but still really frustrated I couldn’t just carry on and keep going for just another 4 minutes 😣

If you are not feeling well then it is not surprising, so don't be too hard on yourself.

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

Those intervals on week 6 catch a few out ! So don't be too hard on yourself.

And if your head wasn't in the right place then that will certainly make a difference !

Just take a couple of days rest and I'm sure you will complete it next time !
