Ever since I graduated and stopped use it the C25k app or podcasts, the thing I’ve missed the most (besides the lovely coaches) is the HALF-WAY BELL. 🛎
Runkeeper does not seem to have a half-way bell, and as I am now extending the duration from run to run, and running a doubling-back route, I really could do with a half-way bell.
On my iPhone, the clock’s stopwatch ⏱ is useless (keeps on ringing or stops everything).
Any tips and tricks or apps on how to get a half-way bell?

The other day I downloaded a timer app for hiit intervals, it beeps when you reach the end of whatever interval you set and moves on to the next. I wonder if something like that might help? But I've no idea if it will interfere with music or other apps!
Ahh, I do set runkeeper to have the 5 min warmup and cool down walk, so that messes up my halfway point. And I like having runkeeper tell me how I’m doing every 5 min (needy as I am). Will post my experience with two additional apps that I’m testing .. thanks to other runners.
Tried to amend this post to add an update and my choice of timer app, but HealthUnlocked created a new post instead. So for anyone interested, see my timeline.
Use the one you app. It’s much better. That’s what most people use. You can listen to your own music it with it too. And there are a choice of coaches to help you.
Ahh yes but this thread is about switching apps. Which is what I am doing. I had to many issues with C25K so like the original post was wondering about other apps that has a halfway bell based on time not distance.
The snark isn’t necessary. You don’t need to respond or read an old post if you don’t want to. But someone may have the answer and respond. Enjoy your day !!
I don’t know what snark is and I don’t know what you are talking about. I was simply stating it was an old post in case you didn’t realise and didn’t get a reply. I did try and help by replying. Geez.
