Finally achieved that 5k run

It’s taken 14 weeks and I have now run 5k, I can’t believe I’ve done it as at the start just running for a minute was a huge achievement for me.

I’ve used the speed and stamina runs in the 5k+ podcast and they have really helped me with my pace and stamina.

Today I ran on my own, taking a comfortable steady pace and smashed it 😆 could have kept going too 😊

That's such an achievement, well done!!! I'm on my journey to 5k, can't wait 'til I can do it too. Managed 4.61k this morning for my 3rd consolidation run. Any tips??

Well done, that’s around what I was doing too, I just kept swapping between short speed runs and longer runs it really helped, today I just took it steady didn’t look at the time, just set the distance, it really helped.

You will there too, just don’t be in a hurry 😊

Thanks, sounds like a plan. I'll try that for the next few runs and see how I get on. 🙂
