The majority of the run actually felt really good; and honestly at the 10 minute mark I really started to settle into it and actually felt great! On the other hand I did start to get pretty tired around 15 minutes? Legs wise they started to get heavier. Unfortunately the last 3 minutes coincided with a hill (I swear it felt like a mountain but I'm pretty sure looked more like a molehill) which I did struggle with. But i did it!!
I think if I slowed down the final 5 minutes would have been easier, but I'm still struggling with going slow enough :/ But on the up side I've just ran 3.5km without stopping! Which even a week ago I would have sworn is not possible with my current fitness.
I must say though I'm looking forward to another couple of runs with walking parts in them! Hopefully this time next week I'll have run for 25 minutes

Brilliant achievement! This run always seemed so daunting to me before. Its the home stretch for you now. The reason Im replying is because I just ran for 44 minutes on "week 12", and the first thought I had when I got back home (really knackered), was that it was only 7 weeks ago it was my "week 5r3". So well done to you! Also, enjoy that last run with walking bits, it feels like Star Trek beyond that.
Thank you!! yep it definitely seemed like such a big hurdle to get over for me! now that I've done this I definitely feel like I'm on the home stretch
Oh woah 44 minutes - congratulations thats amazing! I can't imagine myself doing that just yet; but yesss 7 weeks really isn't so long in the long run... we can achieve so much in such small stretches of time
