Week7 Run2 slightly deflated...

None of the is easy but it’s job done !

Feels a little uneventful today, probably due to not sleeping too great, also a tiny bit slower. I suppose I was thinking it would get easier...

I’m now thinking roll on run 3...

I’m hoping things pick up a bit with runs getting easier and a tad quicker, but will they ?

Well done , it can feel like a bit of a slog at this stage I think, it's all repetition, and I for one probably over analyse it .

I search for the slightest difference between runs as an indicator that I'm improving, but now I'm trying not to .

I have to realise that I am still building my core base fitness as a runner and will hopefully reap the benefits in time rather from run to run .

I'm now , with 3 runs to go trying to enjoy it more and not get too caught up in the fact that the first or second sector was slower or faster than last time.

I'm enjoying the music more , I'm noticing the surroundings more , and probably starting to relax .

In turn my running form will improve.

I hope haha 😂

Each week the challenge increases until you graduate and then you can consolidate and it will become easier.

Thank you for this Instructor 57. This is all very helpful.

You start the challenge and it’s all new, then suddenly you’re halfway through week 7 and counting the runs that are left!

Today was manageable but it WAS a hard slog!

For the moment I will get back to basics, enjoy getting out there instead of let the nerves get to me...wait for Laura to speak and not be checking time or speed!
