Hi all , been reading posts for 3 weeks , just wanted to say you are all amazing at keeping everyone going including me! Last time I ran must have been when my youngest daughter now 14 was a toddler , chasing after her. Iβve just finished week 3 tonight. Stamina wise I am surprised that Iβve kept going for 3 minutes this week. My only problem is my knees are flipping aching like mad! Will this go away? hope so as itβs putting me off a bit and I want to keep going

53 year old with aching knees π

I am 56. Aches seem to have shifted around.. Calf, achilles, thighs, back. But today I did w8r1 and no aches. I just think it takes a bit longer to adjust now. Its worth it. I never thought the word run would be in my vocabulary!!!
I'm the same. I'm 60 and I used to be a sprinter back in my school days. Not considered running until very recently but didn't think my knees (or bladder π€£) would be up to it. I've had different aches and pains so far but have damaged my ankle after week 5 ,run 2. I am not giving in ,just taking an extra rest day. We can do this! Xx

I got my gait analysis done at the beginning of Week 4 and the new trainers I got have completely solved my knee pain.

Aching or in pain? There's a difference.
When does the aching occur and how long does it last?
