hey, I'm 16 and going to start running tomorrow; I want to have a better body I already eat a healthy amount it's purely fitness that I feel that I need to adapt on. Is there any advice anybody can give me to get a better 'summer' body and what home workouts could work best as I don't go to the gym?

Welcome to the forum and well done on your decision

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Don't do this for a "summer" body, do it for life.

Enjoy your journey.

Welcome. Running will sort the fitness and start to tone you up. Cross training is a good idea... check out Strength and Flex to make you less likely to pick up an injury. I also use Nike Training Club which has free plans to get you stronger, these range from beginners ones with no equipment to advanced for athletes with a full gym... 3 versions of the plan require no equipment but you can add some optional extras like dumbbells and medicine balls if you have them, or even part way through a plan if you acquire them.

Have a wonderful journey
