I awoke this morning just before 5, it's a run day so nothing unusual there, I dozed until 5:40 and headed downstairs, a nice cup of green tea and then running kit on and onto the treadmill.
Again, a nice slow and steady pace, controlled breathing and allowing my mind to wander just enough that the passage of time was irrelevant.
It's strange, I loved every second of the run, always do but it seemed to be over way too quickly, as Laura said I had 60 seconds left I put the treadmill on 6 degree incline and increased the speed, finishing on a high.
I'd been wondering why I wasn't getting as many stats through on my Garmin and I realised yesterday, the battery in the chest strap must have gone flat, I replaced it and this morning I get the full range of running stats and they all looked good to me.
One more run on Friday and I can then start thinking on building the stamina further after my consolidation period.
