Ok, sorry to be a pain about this but I'm the inquisitive kind and I need answers for everything.
I've been doing some thinking and some research and I think going through two segments downhill on my run plus a combination of other things (poor nutrition due to stomach problems etc) has caused this injury.
I remember going downhill and thinking, this isn't good.
Anyways, lesson learned. I'm feeling a lot better, somehow the pain decresed and moved to my lower back. I'm wearing compression tights and taking ibuprofen every 8 hrs or so.

Me too... and running down and off it does help the heart and lungs if not the legs. There’s a Strava segment on the steep bit of the descent, I look to never light that up with a medal, then I know I’ve run it well. As long as we run them correctly, both up and down can be good. I do like a flat bit though 🤣
