29 weeks!

Well, it took me 29 weeks but I’ve just this morning done 5k. My old man’s jog, but I got there. I want to work toward a better pace and found a website that gave average times per age group. Question is having completed the 5k training programme where do I go from here to find some structured ongoing plan?

Edit: just found the post 5k thread so I’ll follow that for ongoing advice!

I love the fact that you’ve kept up your running for so long ... I’ve got my first consolidation run tomorrow & am aware that without the programme to follow I might not maintain my motivation ... I shall follow your lead & ‘my’ programme will be to get to 5km ... however long it takes!

Thank you!

Did I mention ... brilliant!!!???
