WK3 Distance am I imagining?

Hi all,

I am new to the C25K and I am thoroughly enjoying it and loving the feedback and suggestions in these message boards. I am doing my W3R2 tomorrow and noticed that when I did the W3R1 I covered less distance than I had in WK1 and WK2. Am I missing something or has anyone else had the same experince.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

W3 workouts are the shortest in the entire plan..........so you will cover less ground.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you for the link and the explanation

The different durations of the walks and runs in the first few weeks of the programme makes it impossible to compare distance. Just settle in and enjoy the runs. There will be ample opportunity to track your progress as you get into the longer consecutive runs from the end of week 6.
