Week 8 variations on a theme...

Week 8 has been a mixed bag for me as I've been lucky to run at 3 different venues.

Run 1 was along a nice flat canal towpath

Run 2 was a Park Run venue - one lap around a nice reservoir and slightly undulating

Run 3 was two laps around a local park which includes a decent hill

My best pace was achieved on run 1 no doubt due to the terrain but was surprised by run 3 as I've not run that route for 2 weeks and my pace has improved by over 20 seconds per km.

So am steadily getting better as fitness improves. Tried to improve my running form today as I asked my daughter to look me over on run 2 and she gave me a couple of pointers. I'm not too bothered about times and distances as such but find it useful to see how much progress I've made over these 8 weeks.

So onwards to week 9 and a nice shiny badge...πŸ‘πŸ˜‚πŸ·πŸ˜

So close now! Cruising to the graduation podium and a shiny badge 😊. Much as pace and distance don't matter during C25K, it's great to have a record to look back on, to see the amazing progress you can make. Good luck with the last few runs of the program πŸ‘ 😊
