Am moving into week 6 run 1 but wondering if I’m doing it right by sticking to run days mom, wed and fri then two rest days or should I just keep running every other day?

I do Mon/Wed/Fri and have just finished W8. Stuck to this routine throughout ... so far.

All I can say is that it works for me

I’ve just graduated and I do mon/wed/fri and I like having those extra two days off. It’s all about what suits your life really, no point doing it every other day then not being able to fit a run in or it’s too much on your legs etc.

Keep to the same days of the week as you are running just now.

When I was doing C25K two years ago my "running week" was Wednesday, Saturday and Monday, for over 10 years I've been going to different places on a Monday and continued to do so while I was doing C25K, so it meant that the final run of all the nine weeks of the course on a Monday I ran on a different course, I live near Glasgow in Scotland so the big two important runs, namely runs 3 of weeks 5 and 9 I remember exactly where I ran them, R3W5 around Linlithgow Loch and R3W9 along the promenade on the west coast town of Helensburgh which is about 30 miles away from where I live.

No one will forget where they ran there graduation run, some have done it at their first parkrun, others on their birthday, always a great day for them, good luck for your graduation run which is only about 4 weeks away. 😊 🏃🏾

Whatever works for you Hanfel so long as you stick with at least one non-running day between each run. Lots of people like the set days approach which will mean two non-running days, depends how predictable the rest of your life is perhaps and what else you have going on. I prefer 'every other day'... or, more realistically these days, "Did you run yesterday? No? You can run today" (although by this point, some years down the line, running every day would be OK)

I did the 3 times a week initially as I wanted 2 rest days. Came in useful for 5.3 20 minutes run. I changed to every other day after week 7 as I wanted to graduate on a certain significant date.

I do non/wed/fri normally but that also gives the option to skip to a sat am sometimes (like this week) 😁. Some people run every other day, but this pattern really works for me 👍

Hi I run Mon/Wed/Fri as well. I'm now doing bridge to 10K and still sticking with that. I like the 2 days rest 🙂
