Knee injury

So having graduated last weekend l have not been able to run since due to a niggling knee injury. I am slightly concerned that when l do do my first consolidation run, hopefully later this week, l will have lost some fitness and durability in my legs. Has anyone else had to stop for a couple of weeks due to injury and then struggled on their return? I appreciate we are all different but am interested how you found it

Apparently we don’t start losing fitness until after 2 weeks. See how you go. What does it matter if you have to stop at 25 minutes? You’ll be back up to part in no time.
