Who tied ton weights to my legs?

Ok, well I ran my first 25 minutes on Wednesday (we won't talk about the 30 seconds of walking after 20 minutes...) and I was fine. Fine yesterday too. This morning my legs feel like lead weights and my old nemesis Plantar Fasciitis is threatening again. I'm hoping this is a temporary feeling and I'm going to be kind to myself with another rest day today instead of the stab at w7r1 which I was intending (don't think I could run anywhere at the moment, struggled to get out of bed!) Hopefully it will be a tad cooler tomorrow too.

You will be all the better for an extra rest day. But I would drink loads today as well. You might be a bit dehydrated. Congrats on the 25 minute run though - that's great!

Well done you did it.

Heavy legs can be symptomatic of poor hydration. As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.

Yep, thanks I have been trying to keep hydrated, especially in this weather. I practice yoga and have noticed in the past that if there are any aches and pains they usually come a couple of days later rather than the next day. From discussions with my peers it seems to be a 'thing'. Frustrating though!
