Tractors and hills!

I live in the countryside and with that I end up having to run up hills. With the recovery walk it is manageable. But the 20 minute run worried me. Will I be able to carry on? Or should I drive to town and run on the flat? Also it’s the time that the farmers are out. I’m continually being interrupted by tractors. Which really puts me off!

You will eventually conquer those hills if you keep at them, but if you prefer flat then drive to the town.

Tractors are a nuisance l know what they are like.

You are doing really well. 😀

I live in the countryside too and have some hills on my usual route. I go out at 6am and rarely see anyone or anything except the local wildlife.....as for the pesky hills....slow and steady conquers them for me! I’m in week 7 now and am finding I’m getting further up the hill before I begin to suffer with every run....and whenever you go up....there’s usually a down that follows for a bit of a rest!!

Thank you this is really helpful. I think I’m going to keep persevering. I go at 8pm but maybe I need to go later!

Good for you, the runs are taxing enough without hills, if it was me I’d probably sneak off town 😂
