I lost my mojo a bit this week after doing a good Week 8 run 3. I should have done this run on Friday or Saturday but after some socialising and not-so-healthy eating and drinking, I was feeling a bit yuk. By Sunday I had to get out and run, but couldn't face the 30 minute challenge, so I put Week 5 run 3 on and aimed to run for 20 minutes, but to keep going if I could. The strange thing was I ran faster, but was struggling to finish the 20 minutes.
This morning I got out early, after psyching myself up, telling myself I could do it, then Laura helped me too, I slowed it right down and ran 30 minutes non-stop! It felt good.

There are always days with ups and downs. I have them and it's completely normal, whether self-induced or not! You just need to put it in the back of your mind and look forward to the next run. You often surprise yourself. The fact that you ran when feeling low was a great effort in itself...and it paid off! 👍😉
