Week 2 Run1

Well that was tough, forgot my knee supports and they make such a difference, didn't give up although I was tempted.

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do on rest days for an overweight unfit 59 year old.

Well done on getting through it, the runs are 50% longer than last week.

On rest days I’ll often go for a walk, sometimes on the route I ran the previous day. I’m at the end of week 7 now and still think ‘there’s no way I can run that!’

As long as you do non-impact exercise to let your muscles recover you should be ok.

From a 51 year old now merely overweight bloke, was officially obese when I started but the weight has started dropping now.
