I’ve had short bursts of running experience where I didn’t stick with it, so I would like to do this program and get a pattern of running. But I can run for about 10 minutes and I did w1r1 and I was bored I almost don’t want to use the app. Can I skip ahead?
Can I start in week 4?: I’ve had short bursts of... - Couch to 5K

Welcome to the forum.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
We are all capable of doing way more than our bodies are conditioned to do, but not without increasing our injury risk. Sticking to gently progressive training plans is the safest way to push our limits, whilst gently increasing our resistance to injury.
If you were running for ten minutes three times a week over a period of time.....not just a one off......then you can probably safely pick up the plan at a later stage, otherwise it is my advice to build up your body's resistance to the impact of running gradually.
We only offer advice, we do not tell adults what they can or cannot do.
Enjoy your journey.
Thanks, I do jog a couple time a week and do about 20 min with some walking, but haven’t pushed past this so the app seems like a good way to build up gradually as you say.
I did read the long beginners guidance.
