Stitches! 😬

I have completed week 2. But just barely.

Day 1 was a disaster, 90 seconds was longer than I thought. At one point I stopped and started walking.

Day 2 was good. I completed that with a stride!

Day 3, oh my… I started with a stitch and

ended with a cramp in right calf.

I run first thing in the morning. I don’t eat breakfast before as I struggle to run, but I do drink a glass of water. Does anyone know how you can prevent a stitch or how to relieve them? The same thing happened twice in week 1.

Well done.

A stitch can be caused by poor hydration and a glass off water just before you run does little for your general hydration during the preceding forty minute workout. This post about the crucial nature of hydration, how much and when to drink, may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
