CR12 What to do next 5km to 10km

I have just done consolidation run12. Last week I ran 33 mins a little bit by accident I could see I needed 300 metres to get to 5km (the magic number ) so I ran on. So last week I did that 3 times.

Today I have started to run for 36mins going by the 10% rule. I am wondering now if I will beable to run 10km. It seems a long time running for over an hour. I have older body parts so don’t want to risk injury so I can’t run at all but need some kind of target.

What would be best plan for me, the older lady and is there a good app any one good recommend please?

You need to follow a plan to get to 10k as you did getting to 5k.

In the guide to post C25k running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you will find a link to the Bridge to 10k forum and the Magic 10 plan bu Ju-ju. It is not an app but is a gently progressive plan that will build you slowly to that distance and the forum will supply similar support to this one.
