Just completed W5R1 but am shattered as did it this evening after being out earlier today doing a 7km walk! I love walking but can’t do both walk and run on same day. Yet....maybe...
Gave myself 2 days off from running at weekend as exhausted myself in the garden on Saturday (my day off) so thought I should properly rest Sunday. And then today I am acting as if I’m still in my 30s again. This getting old lark and the physical limitations that come with it are no joke. Hoping that this running thing will keep me fitter and healthier for as long as possible. Onwards and upwards.

It was the opposite for me last year,, I ran a 8K in the morning but after running it I realised it was the day that I usually go for a 7K walk, I did go the walk but felt more tired than usual, from then on I make sure I don't go a long 🚶 walk or a 🚲 bike ride on the same day that I run a 5 or 10K. 😊 🏃🏾
