Got there this morning my last c25k run 3.55km so selected the big smiley face for the first time, I'm very happy to have taken part, my legs and breathing have improved very noticeably can't wait for the badminton courts to re open so I can run rings around the opposition ha ha.
Now I plan to get up to 5k on my own not necessarily in 30mins but who knows, then I shall join the 10k app.
Started this adventure to improve my legs, give me a bit more puff and because I had wanted to try running since I gave up my professional smoking habit on 02/01/2018๐คฎ
I thought I was fit seeing I was playing 2hrs of badminton at least 3 X and 90 mins of squash 57 X 1 each week plus loads walking and commute cycling, the running showed me otherwise but wow especially since the week 7 runs I have deeper breath and even the calves have settled down.
Thanks everyone for being out there all the posts the support, I shall pop in from time to time.
Well done everyone of us week 1 is a great challenge I promise if this recycled teenager (that's what they call us sporty pensioners did you know) can do it so can you ha ha ha
