Consolidation run 3 and 1st in the rain!

I’ve been lurking here and reading everyone’s post since about week 5 and have finally decided to be brave and post. This site has been such a help when working through the weeks so thank you to everybody for that! Graduated last week and have managed to run 5k the last 3 consolidation runs in just under 34 mins each. Having started C25K twice before and never making it past week 2 I can’t believe it now has me running every other day. To all those struggling, I had to repeat week 2 as simply could not run 90 seconds only to now actually look forward to going out and running. Never be afraid to repeat a run and listen to your body, you will get there! Good luck to everybody starting out, it’s an amazing feeling when you get to the end and realise you can actually run for 30 minutes without collapsing in a heap!

Great post, I’m also doing consolidation runs and I totally agree with you, it’s an amazing feeling knowing you can run for 30 minutes or more, especially when you think back to week 1 and how hard it was. I’m still aiming for 5k in 30 mins or under, achieved my best time of 31:32 this morning which I’m more than pleased with 👍
