To eat or not to eat

Hi all me again 😬

I’m on w7r2 tomorrow

Now I have also eaten a small bowl (20g ) of porridge and and banana before I have ran... I have no worries no stitches no feeling sick

I feel I need some fuel to burn

My hubby saw me the morning and said I should eat before I run (he quite an achiever re running etc)

Do I just carry on as I have been or should I listen to hubby ?

I think firstly, congrats on working through to week 7! And secondly, if it’s not causing you any discomfort and makes you happy then go with what you usually do. 😀

I always go about an hour or two after dinner just to make sure I have enough energy 😊

We are all a little different... I’d advise using what works for you. Technically you probably don’t need much if anything before a run... and on the odd occasion I run in the morning, that breakfast tastes so much better after it!

It's whatever works for you. I usually run first thing on a morning. A quick drink and out the door. On occasions when I have run later I have found I feel sluggish and sickly if I've eaten.too close to the run. If you're comfortable doing what you're doing why change?? Happy running🏃🏃

I’m just worried if I stop eating I won’t have the energy to carry on running (well jogging, well fast movement 😂😂)

I usually run before breakfast, yesterday I did week 9 run 1 late afternoon and it was an awful run! Slowest I have ever been! I feel I run better on an empty stomach so I shall go out early again tomorrow before eating to see if I run better! 🏃🏻‍♀️
