Wow .... I can’t believe I’ve made it to Week 7 .... but I failed this morning with w7 r1 ... I didn’t fail in the fact that I got out there and tried .... but I definitely failed to run for 25mins ... I don’t know if it was because Laura said from now it’s all long runs ... or because it’s so warm and hay fevery ! But I found a good rhythm but no breath in my lungs ... I found a good rhythm and no breath about 6 times!!! I’m sure that run 2 will be better!

Well done you gave it a go.

You did not fail, you had a practice run, from which hopefully you can learn.

Everything going on in our lives can impact on our performance as a runner. Restedness, hydration and nutrition are at the top of my list of variables that need to be optimised to enable enjoyable running.

As a runner you need to drink a minimum of 2.5 -3 litres of fluid each and every day, running or not, as mentioned in the guide.

Hayfever will affect you......so slow down until you can breathe again and speak clearly as you run.
