Hello everyone...here we are again.. and this is the SECOND GRADUATION POST!
We have had wonderfully, so, so many Graduates this month.., that I am having a heck of a time keeping up!
The last post had over 500 Graduates!!!!
So here we are for the last few days of May... !!! Badges fortunately, have not run out!!!
Running right now, is not easy for many, many of us... and much of that has nothing to do with the running legs; some of us are finding it hard to get out to run, some of us are finding it impossible...some of us are struggling...
BUT... we are all doing incredibly, All of us, and to prove it...many of you are achieving your awesome goal of completing C25K and you have reached the Graduation Podium!
Champagne is chilling...the badges and we are waiting
So HUGE CONGRATULATIONS this month to all NEW GRADUATES!
Leave a message down below and your all important little badge will appear... if not sooner then a tad later
The best bit is...you did it... the next best bit is...it all goes on... and your new running legs will take you to the most amazing places. The very best bit is, we are here and will be by your side as you move forward...so stick around for a while and think where you would like to head next
There is a heck of a lot of advice to help you on the forums, to support your next running decisions, when you have celebrated your achievement
There is a link to , if you wish a memento, to the Graduate Certificate designed by our wonderful RunaroundSue
Some people struggle without the structure of a plan to follow and new graduates often have specific queries, but are not quite sure whether this forum is the right place for them, which is why we have the monthly Consolidation Club,
... where roseabi will share her experience and wisdom to keep you on track. Just drop in and have a chat about your plans.

Yes, brilliant everyone! I was going to cheer everyone by posting replies to everyone's graduation, but I would get repetitive strain injury! My son's girlfriend who isn't on the forum (Well I suppose she might be but hasn't told me) also finished the programme today and my daughter is on week 8 (second time round). It's all going on! I have never seen so many runners, young and old.
500 graduaties in May Floss, that must be some record, I certainly have noticed over the last few days a record number of runners graduating and also completing run 3 of week 5 and run 3 of week 6, you and the team of administrators are doing a wonderful job. π ππΎ
Well done to all the graduates! I'm going to keep going... I want to get to 10k! Hopefully there will be as much suppost for the next stage as I've found for 5k. Thank you to everyone and good luck in the next challenge. ππ
Well done Oldfloss and team. You are doing a fantastic job keeping up with so many. Congratulations everyone who had graduated this month. This is just the start of a wonderful Running journey. πββοΈπββοΈππ
I have just come back from my last run in the series and it was probably my best one. Having listened to lots of advice on here, my breathing was regular, my hydration better and my legs lighter, what more could I asked for? I even didnβt mind people see me shuffling along. 5k is my next goal!
Just got in at the end of May. Completed this morning- loved my graduation run. 55 years old and always hated running- until now! I LOVE it!! I even carried on to 35 mins to get the 5k in. Now to 10k.... π
Hi there!! I ran my Week 9 run 3 today and am absolutely thrilled!!! Congratulations to everyone else on here - I hope you feel as proud of yourself as I do! A lovely graduate badge for the end of May would be wonderful! π
I've just completed today! I am in no way a natural runner so I'm pretty delighted to have stuck with it, finished it and even enjoyed it! Planning to work on speed now as my 5k takes 38 minutes at the moment. Pace aside, it's been great to be outside in the sunshine and have a challenge to focus on. Looking forward to my graduate badge!
Hi, I've just actually graduated today π. I've been looking for a link for my badge but I'm a bit of a dinosaur and not really sure where to look!! π. Thanks Miley 0909
Just completed - when I started on Easter Monday I could barely run 2 minutes without blowing out my backside. Today I ran for 30 minutes, looked at my watch and I was at 4.5km and feeling great so kept going to also do my first 5k! #graduate
Graduated!! Wow Iβve just completed the C25K this morning! πWas a great run on a beautiful sunny morning. Feeling so amazed as I pushed on and finished the 5K in 33.43. This has been a great challenge and Iβm just sooo pleased me and my son took it on 9 weeks ago. πββοΈπββοΈ
I completed my last run this morning so just squeezing into the May graduate club. Itβs been brilliant. Ready to get going on the next adventure π
I am a lockdown C25K er took it on and finished this morning. It was a tremendous feeling of achievement. Thanks to designers and admins of this group it it very encouraging to know you are going through it with others
Just completed W9R3 this morning. Thanks for all the brilliant tips and support on this blog. Like me, I guess plenty of people set themselves this target as a lockdown activity. Hence the numbers graduating about now.
Woooooo! Just graduated... Though rather hot! π₯΅! I never thought I would be able to run more than 5 minutes let alone 30. Thank you for everyone's support on here! I have recommended this app to all of my friends... It's brilliant! Next step - run for 40 mins and eventually build up to 10km. Well done everyone! ππ»ππ»ββοΈπββοΈ
I graduated yesterday , and would love a badge πit has been great to have this positive focus through the weeks of lockdown , thanks for all you do and congratulations to all those graduating in May .
I have just snuck in to May as a graduate! Week 9 completed - please may I have my badge?
Actually this last run was the worst ever, but Iβve read enough on this forum to know runs can be like that so hopefully my first consolidation will be fab! Hereβs to more running (champagne first, though...)
Also just completed final run of week 9. I found it harder than run 1 and 2 but I had just eaten my dinner 45 mins before running. I guess that probably wasn't a good idea. So desperately wanted to be a May graduate. Well done us. I share your glory π π ππ
So, I've just completed week 9 run 3. I so amazed as this was my 2nd attempt after starting October 2019 and getting to week 6 when a very bad bout of sciatica made me stop
I started again in March after some very lengthy physio therapy and was actually encouraged to start again
Well I've done it and I couldn't be more proud. Graduation badge would be gratefully received. πββοΈππ Forgot to say added 3 more minutes to run and got to 5k!!
Well done to all lockdown runners! Having not run for more than a bus since school (I am 45!), I completed week 9 run 3 today. Didnβt make 5k but couldnβt be more surprised and delighted with my 4K. Thanks to Sarah Millican for getting me round! Iβm a graduate!
Hi. Completed week 9 run 3 and graduated on Friday, 29 May 2020! I'm not fast or stylish but am loving running again after more than 2 decades of indolence! Couldn't have got there without Laura!!
Hi there I have graduated today & completed Week 9 Run 3, please can I have my graduation badge. Iβve really enjoyed this running programme. Thank you.
Hi, I completed Week 9 Run 3 yesterday morning so Iβm a May graduate π It was very hot so Iβm going to try going a bit earlier in the morning for my next run. Thanks for all the tips on here that got me through! I managed 4.1km in the 30 mins so Iβm going to try to get a little further in each consolidation run.
Hi - a few days late in letting you know, but I completed C25K on 30 May - so happy to have done it and now looking forward to actually getting to 5K!! This fantastic forum and community was a massive help with such brilliant help, tips and inspiration π
