Quite enjoyed this last run. Didn’t manage to get up as early as I intended so it was the warmest I’ve run. Nice cool breeze in my face on the outward run but the sun in my face from the turn around. The first time I’ve felt like a beetroot since I started! I felt good right from the start and knew I was going to finish. It was so much better than Tuesday. Realised I was almost reaching the milestones this time but knew I wouldn’t surpass the times from Sunday. But I did!! 3.64k with an average pace of 7.55min/k. I tried to up the pace for the last minute but it was too hot to keep going for any longer. That extra 0.03k is so important!! Now to push on in a few weeks and get to 5k.
I didn’t really think I would complete it when I started and probably wouldn’t without all the tips and support on here so thank you everyone. I haven’t had any repeat runs and have managed alternate days running and no injuries. I think I’m lucky that I only had one run in the rain, although a lot of wind last week.
So to those of you starting out, keep at it. If I can do it, anyone can

I took a photo of my beetroot face to post after my last run but decided it was far too much hideous information to share.. I’m like that after about twenty minutes or so on every run.. even when it’s cool..☹️
