Ran this in 24* heat, with my two flatmates which was so much fun. One flatmate did week 2, and one ran week 3 with me. I got all the way to the last 3 minutes but had to stop 1 minute before the end. I did do some more running by the end so probably covered the distance by the end, but didn't do it continuously.
BUT that is still so much more progress than a few days ago when I couldn't get past the first half of the run. I am super proud that I'm now 1/3 of the way through the programme, looking forward to upping my game even more.
I will repeat week 3 until I am happy with it, which I think will take a minimum of another 3 runs tbh. It's very very hot here at the moment which is encouraging to get out but I do wonder how it impacts the runs. My right leg as usual hurts the most too so maybe when lockdown is over I'll go to a gait specialist to see how my running could be improved.
For now - super happy with progress so far and excited to push on till I've got week 3 in the bag

Nice progression and I’m loving hearing of a house training together.
Are you running on roads? I’m wondering if you’re running the same route as camber can cause issues that are asymmetrical... the solution to which would be to run on the same side of the road in the opposite direction.
I think the combination of increasing runs and temperature is making it quite hard out there... your attitude to it all is perfect though, so I know we will be seeing your graduation post in due time.
Thanks! Yeah its lovely to have people to run with, keeps each other on track to keep going out.
I am running round a park so there is some camber at points - thank you for the tip and I'll watch out for this. I've noticed in the past that this does hurt so good to know.
Fingers crossed! Might be a while but I'll graduate for sure.
It doesn’t really matter how long it takes... it’s your journey, and this plan has you doing 28 minutes of cardio on day one... all it’s doing is swapping brisk walk to run over time... so you’re already getting huge health and fitness benefits.
