I ran Week 9 Run 1 this morning and I can’t get over how good it felt! Week 8 felt like a real hard slog and there were points where I thought I wouldn’t finish, but today everything just slotted into place. At 30 minutes when MJ congratulated me, I’d done 4.2k, so thought I’d end in style and get the 5k done! The furthest I’d run up until today was 3.9k and managed the 5k in just under 35 mins. Couldn’t be happier - this programme is brilliant 🎉🥳😊 - for those starting, or half way through, just keep going!! You will get there, at your own pace. Walking out the front door is the biggest step - and you’re doing that! 🏃🏻♀️

Well done. The extra isn’t recommended, but understandable... you’ve nothing to prove to anybody now, so relax, stick to the 30 minutes for the next two and keep the injury risk down.
