I’m on week 4 and my last run I’m really suffering with feeling like my legs are completely empty. I run early morning and am wondering if I should eat first.
I normally go to the gym early and don’t have this issue?
Any advice would be appreciated

I usually exercise in a fasted state with no issues, but that's just me... Maybe it is a hydration issue? I know that if i haven't been drinking enough water (on and off run days) my legs can feel quite heavy and consequently the run can feel like a bit of a drag!
I always have a slice of toast and an espresso about 45mins before I go out. It means setting my alarm a bit earlier, but I don’t think I could do it without.
Maybe hydration, need to drink often as a runner, also warming up properly, doing some dynamic excercise before going out and stretching properly afterwards is about as important as the workout, remember, when the run gets so hard slow down more, try that, see if it helps..
I struggled from week 3 with the same thing. After weeks of working through threads on here I think most people have leg issues in the early stages. I'm guessing there's an element of adjustment. I've just finished week five and the last couple of runs I've used a foam roller after my runs and its made a massive difference. It can be brutal but my legs feel much lighter between runs now. Hope that helps
Maybe an energy boost pre run? 😊
