I started the plan at start of May but had problems after the w1r3. Pain just above ankle. After w2r2 couldn’t walk in pain did normal ICE. Left it 7 days went for a walk and tried a hill my ankle/calf went and fell down luckily I was not on my own so had help to get back. I have left it another week resting and doing strength exercises. I watched the slow running on YouTube yesterday and found it was easier than normal walking. Tried it round my garden for 10 minutes no issues. I was going to go back to the start of the programme but maybe will continue for w2. Will try later today and see how I go. The slow running is slower than my normal walk. I am 1 1/2 stone over weight woman in my 50’s maybe that is also the problem

and includes advice on dealing with injury, minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Don't rush it and if it persists get seen by a medical professional.

Done a run using slow running worked! Completed w2r3. Happy was playing on Spotify and sun out as I competed stretches.
