Just completed this, really struggled and definitely don’t feel ready for the 3 minute run next week! Anybody repeat week 2?

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

If you follow the link in the guide to the post about mental approach, you may change your mind.

Hi, sometimes it can be apprehension and lack of confidence that niggles at you😕I have felt it sometimes throughout the programme.I would say try the first run, you may be surprised how well you cope, If you dont feel comfortable, repeat a previous run(had to do that a couple of times)Good luck, post how you get on, there is a lot of support on here👍

I felt like this too and have just finished my week 3 run 1 this morning. I was nervous about it but took the run at a slower pace and was able to complete it. The last 3 minute run was exhausting but just slowed down the pace again and kept my reason as to why im doing this at the forefront of my mind and it got me through. You can absalutely do it and adjust your pace if you need too 😁
