THE STORY OF MY LIFE......

I was meaning to run on Thursday but I had such a bad night's sleep on Wednesday that I was good for nothing in the morning. Friday I was still feeling tired so decided it had to be this morning. I meant to go out at about 8.30 but made the mistake of looking at social media - where did THAT hour go? I'd seen that my husband's old rugby club were trying to raise money by their 'friends' walking, cycling or running and donating. I decided I'd 'donate' this run to them. Eventually set off. Had a rough route planned in my head - thought I'd see how it was going as to how far I'd go and try to concentrate on my form. Slowed my pace down a bit (I think) and was amazed at how my breathing seemed reasonably effortless. It was probably the last half kilometre which I struggled with. However I was pleased with 6k. Stopped my Strava and decided to see how to donate my run and then saw......the challenge doesn't start until SUNDAY!! 🤣🤣

This is so typical of me. I did think I could try and 'swing' it but I have to send my Strava 'proof'. Foiled again 🤣

🤷‍♀️

I think it's such a great feeling when you find that rhythm with breathing and cadence. Well done on getting out and achieving. A good warm up for the official run!!
