W2R3 Completed!

Went on my final week 2 run yesterday evening, it went so well. A little bit of calf pain but pushed through, felt really good at the end. A little bit of pins and needles which was a new sensation for me, that seemed to threaten my run much more than anything else. More stretches at the end and beginning are definitely helping.

Just shows that listening to your body and understanding when you can go that bit further really pays off. Seem to be getting faster as well which is great, really proud of my progress so far and maintaining my motivation.

I think I will repeat week 2 once more, I'm finding doing the runs 4 times rather than 3 is actually more beneficial for me and my progress. Don't mind taking a slower pace if it means I'm more ready to go to the next step.

As usual, these posts are just for myself rather than for advice. Just happy to be tracking my progress to look back on at the end.

Good for you! 😄 It’s great that you are creating a journey that suits you. Listen carefully to that calf - don’t “push through” real pain.

Yeah all good - I know my limits and how to listen to my body, when its real pain and not just normal working out pain. Thanks!
