Consolidation run no.2

So, I was disappointed with my first run. Gave myself 4 days off as it was the first time I had aching muscles! Tried this morning and took a new route for the first half. It was going ok, so I added 3 minutes-just! Still only managed 4.6K at 8min/K but am determined to get to 5K before 22nd May!

You're doing great, just take it easy. It's very common to get injured just after graduation, so slowly but surely. 👍

Have you read the guide to post C25k running ?healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which advises you to maintain your duration/distance for consolidation runs..........otherwise you are not consolidating, but still pushing the limits.

Give yourself a break and don't force arbitrary time schedules on your running........that often leads to injury.
