I’m not doing this for weight loss - I’m doing it to challenge myself to a fitter healthier lifestyle but did not imagine weight gain

You are probably gaining muscle - that weighs more than fat...keep at it...the extra muscle will burn calories faster, so you will start losing fat weight soon enough - whether that is why you.are doing it or not.
I’m afraid I am gaining width, rather than weight! I had hoped to slim down a little but my tum is reminding me of all the sneaky snacks I’ve been nibbling 😂
