W9R1 - Second time round

I’m nearly there! On my second attempt at the plan. I first graduated last August and then, for a lot of reasons, gave up running. I decided to give it another go in February and here I am! I’m so glad I did take it back up because now, with all the craziness in the world, it’s the one thing that keeps my anxiety in check. This mornings run wasn’t the easiest, I think I hit “the wall” about three times but I plodded on and I’m so glad I did! And I broke the 5K mark; ok, it included the walks at both ends but I was still moving for 5K. That counts, right?!?!? 😉

Well done - you are so nearly there!

Do not worry about that '5k' marker - the goal of the program is to achieve a solid 30 minutes of running. Most people are NOT running a full 5k in that time by the end of week 9.

It is often said on here that the program should be called "Couch to 30 minutes of running" but it really doesn't have the same ring, does it! 🤣

Good luck with your last couple of runs and hope you keep going with your running. It is a great way of supporting our mental health, especially at the moment.🙂🌈
