Taken the plunge

45 years old, slightly overweight.

Active growing up, fairly sedentary recently aside from a weekly bimble around the golfcourse.

Would like to shift about half a stone to get down to what I consider to be my fighting weight of 14 stone, and I'm also mindful of the long term benefits of a healthier lifestyle.

Also looking for a bit of mental stimulation, have been meaning to do something like this for a while, and the current lockdown situation has spurred me on

Took the plunge and went out for a brisk walk on Sunday, then researched C25K and have just completed my first 30 minute effort.

Went pretty well, managed to complete it, covering just over 2k according to mapmyrun.

Looking forward to Thursday.........
