W5 R1 achieved but tough

Can’t believe I am already in week 5, but here I am! However today was probably my hardest run yet, I did it but it was a bit of a slog. The north east wind and icy drizzle didn’t help, nor did the hills being in the wrong places 😀. But I have trust in the process and the plan.....and feel good still hours later.

Well done. I’m due to do that run next and hope it doesn’t rain on Thursday! I know what you mean about hills in the wrong place too!! I’ve only got one but it landed in the middle of the last 5minute run of week 4. But I made it through week 4 so optimistic about week 5. Just hope the weather plays ball.

Thanks, once I had been out for about 8 minutes, the cold didn’t really matter, so hope it is ok for you. Glad I’m not the only one with problem hills 😀

well done! I just did W5R1 today, in a gap in the rain. It at least made the ground nice and soft so I'm not too achy. No hills for me, I think I would lie down and give up if I tried to run uphill!

I hear this week gets 'interesting' later....eek.
