Well last night was a tough one. You see my running buddy (AKA Guinny the dog) is unwell and on house rest, so it was the first time of going out with the sole purpose of running, not a dog walk disguised as a run.
Wow the hardest thing was actually getting up off the couch to go out. Then I felt really self conscious out on my own and much harder to keep a steady pace. But I’m going to keep with the solo runs and hope the dog recovers soon.

And massive well done for getting out and running even when you did not feel like it. That takes strength! (Funny, when you start running you really start to find out just how strong you are.) I promise you, the more solo runs you do, the less self-conscious you will feel. Just tough it out for a while, you will get there, I promise you.
