Week 4 Run 2 completed

Completed run 2 of week 4 this morning. I have been making an effort to get out earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds and it seems to be working. However, it still felt like a bit of a struggle today. I will see how run 3 goes on Saturday before deciding if I need to repeat week 4, or if I feel able to move up to week 5.

Well done - I agree that early runs are good for avoiding people (although I have to emit, I still run better later in the day!)

Obviously, if you are not sure about moving on to Week 5 yet, then repeating Week 4 is of course an option. Have you tried dropping your pace a little too? A lot of people find this makes the running intervals much more comfortable and achievable. 'Slow and steady' really is the name of the game here, especially as you are just beginning to build up that fitness!
