Week 5 Run 3 ✅

I have worried about this run from the first time I heard about it and from struggling to complete 90 seconds on week 2 to running non stop for 20 minutes I actually can’t believe that I have managed to complete it, don’t get me wrong it’s very tough and I recon I considered stopping about 5 times, I found from 8 mins to about 12 mins really tough but once I was through that it went ok, and the end of it I jumped around like I had celebrated scoring a goal 😂😂, have seen a lot of people worried about this run but you can get through it , good luck and roll on week 6 👍🏻

Have you heard of/read about the “toxic ten”. It explains why we struggle more early in the run & why things then get easier. It was really helpful to know this as it pushes you on.

It is the same feeling as scoring a goal for your team with one minute to go in extra time in the cup final.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Well done. Thank you! I’ve got that coming today and I’m nervous too. I’ll be thinking about you as I go round. I’ll keep telling myself I can do it. 😊

Your be fine, keep it slow, set a comfortable pace and the run will flow , good luck 💪🏻

Thank you. I might have to keep looking at this as I go round. 🏃🏼‍♀️My husband is doing this too and he is much faster and fitter than me. I’ll have to ignore him and do my own thing. I’m looking forward to the jumping up and down with joy at the end. 😊
