Hi,

I've had C25K on my phone for about 2 years and never plucked up the courage to give it a go.

When I've tried running in the past I've found that my breathing makes me stop before my legs

Last week I told myself I've got no excuse as we're in lockdown and am not in work.

I've just completed week 1 and it was easier than I thought it would be.

Looking forward to week 2 and hope I'll still be feeling positive at the end of it 😊

Well done to everyone who's decided to give it a go...keep running and STAY SAFE !!

Well done for completing week 1! That's a tough one and now you know you can actually do this with a bit of determination and taking it really slow. You will find great advice and support on this forum. Make sure you read through the pinned posts - lots of important stuff there to take on board from the administrators of the forum.

Best bit if advice I got was to look at the Japanese Slow Jogging video. Its a game changer! Here's the link. youtu.be/9L2b2khySLE

I have just watched the video 👍👍

I think my problem is that I think I'm running too slow and look silly, so in the past I have sped up. I now know that is definitely not the way to go

I will keep the video in mind whilst running tomorrow
