Hi everyone, I’ve just finished my first run with C25K and I’m totally converted 😁 I’m 19 and have never ran in my life, I have a bit of weight I want to shift but never thought running would be for me. Over the next few weeks I’m hoping to gain confidence, improve my general fitness and enjoy running as much as I enjoy big long walks

I love the Nike Training App for pre and post run stretches! They’re great

Congratulations! I'm 19 too and really struggling, I couldn't even finish W1R1! Going to try again today though xx

As long as you get back up and try again you’re doing way more than if you didn’t try at all! We’ll smash it together x

Hi, I've just signed up and I'm a little nervous-I'll start with a warm up from my garden and I'll cool down when I get home- but is there anything else I should consider before getting started?! Thanks!

I’d just make sure you clear your mind of any distractions or excuses you might be able to use to not go on your run, for example I did mine as soon as I got up and just made sure I’d drank my water, been to the bathroom etc so that I didn’t push it back all day. I’d definitely say that you should do the build in 5 min walk too for your warm up and cool down as well as your own as it just helps you get into the rhythm. Hope your first run goes great! x
