My inner ego, Enid, has enjoyed all the craft and puzzle, postive feeling past-times. But today it is important to get moving again even if still confined to four walls.
Great to throw myself into stretching and moving even whist doing housework. Can this count as a work out if I put enough effort in?

It worked for the great R.i.P Mr mercury Nilsam it can work for you to, there's so many tasks that involve a little fitness if only for a tweak here and there ππ
Brilliant. Oh we loved Freddie! What a man and what an outfit. Now I may have to sing along with the housework. It wont be "when I'm cleaning windows".
Thank you for that comment, Imc50. Take care. π
Polishing is great for arms, i used to polish a lot until i realised i polish when stressed, i have a lovely oak table that was my mums and after she died i brought it home , poor thing got polished every day for weeks it was so nice and shiny
Oh I used to love polishing our old oak table (I even used to sit my small daughter on a duster and move her around ...is that child cruelty?) Wiping over s modern table is just not the same. ππ
Did the ironing woo hoo, been saving it up as wear jumpers to work in winter so 14 shirts have been hanging and waiting, loud music and 2000 steps later lol
I do a low squat or single leg dip while cleaning my teeth........so yes, of course you can build in strengthening and flexibility exercises into just about any daily chore.
Careful with that toothbrush! Makes me think of children running around with lollipops in their mouths (ouch). That said, I stand on one leg whenever I can. Am turning into a heron!
It is a great image and I do agree. I used to practice my balance on one leg with my eyes shut whilst cleaning my teeth (left leg for top right leg for bottom)...but tended to list towards the bath. Bit dodgy. π
Well done for being creative and inventive with your exercise! π
Yay Enid is off the couch too!!! There's no hiding from it even with the lockdown theres always a way to keep moving. Gasp - am i going to have to clean my house?????
Don't worry it's not mandatory. I put the biscuits on the top shelf so at least I had to stretch to get them down. πͺπSame can be done with wine and glasses. π·ππ
Hi Nilsam, great to see Enid up and moving about, and getting the housework done at the same time ππ€
Itβs nice to see Enid helping out. We all need to stick together in this crisis (but only virtually). Housework is a great workout, except ironing, I donβt recommend ironing! π. Dancing is good too ππ»πΊ
If your standing not sitting to iron...it has to count for something. But no, let's dance in wrinkled clothes instead. πππI mean who is going to see us.ππ
I had a little dance in the kitchen in my break from the remote working. My brother in Australia is just going into lockdown mode. He's a musician (amateur) and sound engineer and did a rendition of Ghost Town which was brilliant. A nice break from the awful shoulder and backache from working at a less than perfect working set up at home. It hurts!
